Maxine, I was so sorry to hear of Donald's passing. You and your family are in my prayers. Love you guys always!! Debbie Hamby Hanks
I was very sadden to see the Record Newspaper today. Donald and I with a few others attended the old Moravian Falls School when a lot of good teachers were there. At the road by the side of the old YELLOW JACKET building was where I learned to ride a bicycle in the dark. He, Bobby Meadows and myself was always doing things together. We had a old telephone generator which we would see how much we could stand of "shock. I was 20 days older than Donald and we enjoyed our school years.
Donald left for the Navy and I went into the Marine Corps. I have lost a good friend. My best to ALL. I always remember FRIENDS at Moravian Falls.
With the deepest sympathy and prayers.
Bobby G. Perry
