Dear Auntie Pam, Bruce, Bryan, and Linda. I just found out about Don. I am so sorry for your loss. Our deepest condolences Michael, Olivia and Hannah
I met the Oldows more than 30 years ago in Alaska. I remember vividly my trip aboard the "Shaman" to the Kenai Fjords and the Orcas surfacing along side the ship. We had many enjoyable times in California, Washinton and Arizona. Clif and I will always treasure the all too short visit in July of this year in La Connor.
Fair winds and following seas.
I was so sorry to read of Don's passing, although I knew both Pam and Don casually, I was always impressed how genuine and caring they both are.
The Holtry family has been so very blessed to share the last twenty-plus years with the Oldow family. During the years as neighbors on Cheyenne Avenue in Sierra Vista, Allison would see the big RV come around the corner and announce the fun was about to begin! It always did. We treasure the countless memories of happy times and sad times. We will always carry the vision of Don's twinkling eyes as he and Pres good-naturedly ribbed one another then switched to singing praises of their wonderful dogs. We will always be in awe of Don's professional accomplishments and relive the stories he would recount in the most unassuming manner. Thank you, Don, for being part of Holtry family lore.
Pam, I am so sorry for your loss of a wonderful man. He was a good friend to us. Jo Ann Corfman
