Becca, I remember your mother as a dignified, intelligent, wise, unpretentious woman who was independent and quietly self-confident. You and your family were lucky to have her as a role model for so many years. My thoughts are with you.
Dorthea was a great lady. Fond memories!
Becca, I am sorry for the loss of your Mother; I have many fond memories of time spent at your home with both your parents.

I have fond memories of Mrs. Burnett as my 4th grade teacher during the bicentennial year. We had some trouble makers in that class, so she may remember it as one of her more challenging classes. Hopefully I didn't give her too much trouble. My deepest sympathies to the family.
My memories of Dorthea were her visits to Rebecca when she lived across the street from me. Such a pleasant interesting woman in her late 70's who enjoyed life and her family to the fullest degree. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. May the Lord comfort Rebecca and family in this time of sorrow.
Dorthea Burnett was my fourth grade teacher and a friend of the family for over sixty years. One of the nicest people I have ever known.
I will always remember Dorothea as a gracious lady with a wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed.
