President Chapter 1133
To the Aldrich Family. I used to work with Doug and Jim in Virginia when they closed the MD Office. I was first the receptionist then I was sitting in a cubicle across from Jim and Doug's Office. Doug and I were usually the first to be there. When I moved to DC at 1900 Half he never failed to come by to see me when he was up that way. He told me that because I had left Bren Mar that I was always a friend. So you know I will always miss him and his visits. Family you have my Love and Sympathy . With love,
Dorethea M. McCallum (Dee)

Doug was my room-mate, canoeing partner, drinking buddy, companion on many escapades, and my brother. There is a huge hole in my heart right now, but I will always treasure the memories. Skoal, bro..., until we tip one together in heaven.
Doug may you rest in peace and may God bless your family in this time of sorrow and always.
Doug, you will forever be missed by us. Rest in peace. JR.
Jane, may the God of all comfort surround you with peace as you walk through this time of sorrow. Doug will be greatly missed, he was a serene and kind person . My prayers and thoughts are with you and your loved ones.
Doug was one of those people that you could talk to, laugh with and just be yourself. He didn't care about rank or title. When I received an award for traffic enforcement, Sgt. JD Williams was on my right and Doug was on my left, that picture hangs in my office til this day. Doug knew what it meant to be a friend and a leader. He will be missed by all that knew him. Rest in Peace Brother.
Jane, my prayers go to you and the family. May God bring you comfort during this difficult time of grief. Always remember the blessing of your time with Doug and remember someday you will be together again in our Father's house.
Doug will always be remembered by his kindness. He will be greatly missed.
Jane, kids and grandkids are in my thoughts and prayers. May all your memories and God's love bring you comfort at this time.
Doug and I served in the Marines together when he was at Quantico, VA and later we worked evening patrol shift for FPS. He was a great guy, with a calm and easy-going demeanor. We had many laughs and he will be greatly missed. Semper Fi my friend!
Love you Dougie, Can't believe I won't hear your chuckle on the phone, or laugh at your stories any more.
God has reasons of His own and plans we don't know. My prayers go to the family, specially my dear friend Jane.
May God bring you comfort during this difficult time of grief, and strength for you to keep moving on with your life. Rest assured that Doug is in the Father's arms looking upon us all.
Doug was a cherished colleague who could always be counted on, especially when the going got tough. His reserved demeanor and even temperament was an asset that gave way to a warm and jovial friend once you got to know him. He is greatly missed by his extended family at the Federal Protective Service, US Department of Homeland Security.
I miss you!!!!!! Jr.
