I knew Dr. Modesto in Heilbronn, Germany in the 1970s. I worked with him in the U.S. Army Dental Clinic. He was a dedicated dentist, a true gentleman and a good friend to all of us. Prayers and sympathy to his family.
I had the pleasure of knowing Ed from Amadeaus. He was amazing in his role and was kind to all. You have my sympathy.
It was with great sorrow that we learned of Ed's passing. He was a kind, talented gentleman. We are all better people for knowing him. I'm sure Megan is saving his spot in the heavenly angelic choir. He will be missed.
A brilliant man with a good heart. I wish I could have known him better. The two aspects of Ed I remember strongest were his compelling talent, but more than that, his generosity of spirit. He will be missed.
It was a pleasure to meet Ed during the Production of The Elephant Man at Theater-on-the-Hill. He was an amazing talent. I had the special treat of working closely with him during Amadeus, too. He was warm hearted, enlightened, and gentle. My condolences to his family and close friends
I only knew him through Amadeus, and he was a phenomenal actor. I'm grateful for that memory alone, and I only wish I could have known him better, for he sounds like a great man
My prayers and condolences go out to your family, may you rest in peace. You will be missed.
I was fortunate enough to be a fellow cast member in Elephant Man at Theater On The Hill. Ed was a pleasure to know and work with.
I worked with Ed during Theater on the Hill of Bolingbrook's production of "The Elephant Man." He was a great guy, a team player, and he poured 200% of his energy into his performance. He really came to life on stage and he was a pleasure to work with. My condolences to his loved ones.
I only knew him during Elephant Man, but what a joy to talk to and such a gracious host.
I had the pleasure of working with Ed in the play Amadeus. His portrayal of Salieri was both brilliant and chillingly beautiful. RIP my friend xoxo
It was a pleasure to work with him in Elephant Man. He will be missed.
Ed was a fine man, generous with his talents, and always someone who was willing to take extra steps to make the community a better place. I had the pleasure of working with him at my theater company, Theatre-on-the-Hill, casting him in productions of "The Elephant Man" and "Amadeus". His enthusiasm was infectious; his talents obvious. He also was a force in the community at large. When my daughter was attempting to enlist in the military, she needed her wisdom teeth extracted beofre they would take her. Sadly she had no insurance and not much money. Ed performed the extractions for her at no charge. My daughter has now gone on to success in the Navy, and Ed played a part in that as well. He will be missed teribly by all who knew and loved him.
I knew Eddie all through St. Mary of the Lake school, and especially in CYO band, where he played clarinet. I wish I could have heard him play flute. My condolences go out to the entire Modesto family. He was really a great guy.
He was a kind soul whose memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched. He will be greatly missed, never forgotten.
I met Ed through Oak Lawn Theatre. So sorry for your loss. Prayers are with you all.
There are no words to ease your sorrow, only God and time can help the pain. We enjoyed Ed's wit and goodness. He will be greatly missed.
