His legacy was his service to others and his family. His daughter, my dearest friend, Nancy, is also a living testimony to the type of father he was--kind, considerate of others and excellent in her field of work. May God comfort his family during this time.

George Probst's everyday life was an example of Christian love and kindness for his family and all who knew him. Virginia has lost her soul-mate, who by his words and actions renewed his marriage vows to her daily. Our son-in-law Greg, along with Nancy, Lisa, and George lost a father whose life had been dedicated to his family. Our daughter Jana lost a father-in-law who she loved and deeply respected. “Pop” will be greatly missed by his grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved him dearly. “Pop's” laughter and wit will never be forgotten and he will forever be in the hearts of all who loved him.

I know dad, (Frank) always looked up to "my brother George". He even joined the Coast Guard. I love this photo as I believe it captures the essence of the man I remember. A confident and sincere man who enjoyed life. Peace Be With You Uncle George.
