My prayers are with you. I attended Ecorse High School with Glenda. I know many years have past. However, I have always remembered her. Her passing came as a TOTAL surprise. She will never be forgotten.
Truly I want to let you know that you all will be in my prayers. Glenda and I attended our first EHS Homecoming dance together, I was really proud to have her with me that night. I will cheerish her memory. Amazingly she was at MSU with my first cousin Deborah Jenkins. Be blessed Family. May God truly comfort you all.

Very surprised to learn of Glenda's passing. I attended high school and dated Glenda many "moons" ago. She left us too soon.
I had the pleasure of working with Glenda at Xerox for over five years. Our relationship went beyond being coworkers, she was more like an Aunt to me. She inspired me in so many ways to be ambitious and to continue striving for excellence. She was so talented, intelligent, ambitious, and a pure joy to be around. Words can't quite articulate the impact she has left on my life. She will truly be missed and never forgotten. My prayers are with all of you; may God bring you comfort, strength and peace. Counselor Griffin will always have a special place in my life.
Glenda and I worked together at North Central/Republic Airlines we would ride togther and have lunch our favorite was coney dogs(smile) But I would like to say to the family we have lost a wonderful friend but God has gained another Angel..Glenda you left us to soon..May God continue to keep the family strong....I will continue to pray that you have faith..Glenda will be truly missed.
My deepest sympathy to Glenda's family. I worked with Glenda for a little over a year and enjoyed every minute of it. She is funny, easy going, and an all around nice person. She is one of those people you feel compfortable talking with...very warm. Glenda is sorely missed. May she rest in peace in the arms of the Lord.
I have worked with Glenda for a year. I have never met a more wonderful, cheerful, and glorious lady. I am sure God has plans for her because he took her away from us too early. I will truly miss Glenda but I know that she is in heaven now and very happy
Dear Calvin, Ann, Pamela and family,
So sorry for the pain and loss that you are feeling. I hope that time and the prayers of so many who love you will lessen your sorrow each day.
I wish to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of a very special person here at Xerox. She was always friendly and kind to all of us. She will always be in my prayers.
Glenda Griffin will forever be with us in our loving memories of who she was. She had a wonderful spirit, and loved everyone she came in contact with. No one ever had an altercation with her on the job, whatever was asked of her, she just did it, with no complaints. We miss her deeply, and pray that God provides comfort to all that miss her as he promised in Matthew 5:4
On Friday we are working steadily, joking and laughing, counting the minutes to "margarita time", the weekend. On Monday, we return to our colleages and friends at Xerox only to have the air sucked from the room when we learn we've lost one of our own. When we spend so very much of our time together, it does feel like losing a sister, a cousin, an aunt. I speak for many here, we miss her terribly. There is an emptiness in this part of the room. It is comforting to know the love she had for her family and her Lord, as she is certainly with him. May you find peace in her love for you.
I wish to express my condolences to Glenda's family. May God be with you. I will keep you in my prayers. Glenda Michelle Griffin “Griff” was someone who leaves me with a richer and brighter heart for knowing her. I met Griff at MSU where I was one of her roommates. I always admired her gutsy but loving spirit. She loved to laugh and have a good time, but when it was time to get busy…she did. She had a wonderful way of approaching things with such purpose, beauty, grace and excellence. She showed me through her actions that you can fulfill your dreams, work hard and be successful and still do it all with style. I love you and I will miss you. Belinda Williams-Shipps
You have our deepest sympathy. Glenda will remain in our hearts. She will be greatly missed. Our prayers are with you and your family.
Words cannot heal the pain of losing someone so dear. May God give you the strength to overcome the pain. We will miss her dearly.
I'm Dianna Little from Xerox, a coworker of hers. Glenda is and was such a nice person, willing to help all. She helped me with my legal homework to finish college to complete my bachelors degree. There was never any concerns with her here at work (Xerox). She was a pleasure to be around, and willing to help anybody who needed it, and we all loved her. All of her family will be in my prayers. Thank you. Dianna Little
Rest in Peace, GOD BLESS!
I am very sorry for your loss. I had only known Glenda for a short time but she was the type of person that made me look foward to seeing her at work. I still glance over at her work area expecting to see her there. Again, very sorry for your loss.

I too met Glenda as a freshmen at Michigan State. Akers Hall room 601 was a 4 man room, & like a brother/sister room to Glenda & her roomates. I looked up to her as a big sister, & she helped me navigate campus boy/girl relationships (smile). I am saddened at her passing because of the impact she had on my life. It's amazing how some people in life you forget, & others like Glenda you remember forever! Rest In Peace Glenda! Love You!
Glenda, you were always smiling, always laughing, and yet always sensible. We met at Ameritech, in the telephone sales department, and you went with out group of top saleswomen to the Ann Arbor office, where they called us the "Arborettes." You always made me laugh, and always had ambition to move on to better things, which you did. I'm so sad that I lost touch with you, and now I can't talk to you any more! We always think that friends will go on forever, and you will, in my heart, with that sassy smile of yours. May God comfort your family and friends in their loss of your joy.
Forty years ago Glenda entered my life and has been a friend near and dear to my heart . As a freshman at MSU Glenda welcomed me into her life and I am so thankful for the friendship that developed and endured. I will always cherish the fond memories I have , knowing that with those memories you are still with me. I know you are at home now and I will see you again.
We make a lot of friends throughout our life. But only a few ever become close to us. I have known Glenda since our freshman year at MSU. She was my true bud. True friends are the ones who never leave your heart, even if they leave your life for a while. We were separated by distance and even time but even after years apart, you pick up with them right where you left off. And even if they die they're never dead in your heart. I will miss my friend.
Your work was done,Griff, so GOD called you home. I am still trying to process this, but I know your faith was strong and you were ready for your homegoing. I love you and miss you, but I will see you again. Smiff
