Rest in Paradise Grandpa Herman. You will be missed, see you in heaven.
My prayers are with all of you. Uncle Herman took me on the milk route with him when I was little and also took Jack & I to Sunday school too. He was a peach of a person and will be greatly missed.
Sympathy to Cindy, Dennis and Wendy in the loss of your father. Our prayers are with you. You were blessed to have such a gentle loving father. Love, Carol (Crawford) Waggoner & John
I fondly remember Herman coming to my Dad's gas station when I was a kid and refilling the candy display. He was always a real gentleman with an easy going disposition. My condolences to Herman's family.
Keeping you all in our prayers. Our deepest sympathy.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the Steinke family. We will continue to hold you up in prayer. Pray for comfort and peace at this time of grief. Diane, Peter & Ryan Simaitis

My condolences to your family Wendy. Namaste.
So very sorry for your loss - he will be missed - but, you have to know that those Steinke's are getting together in heaven and laughing... and if I know my mom - she has your dad at the race track. I will always remember fondly - how passionately they all lived. Consider yourself hugged - know that you are loved and that we are praying for you...

I worked for a tobacco company in the early 1980's and remember Herman well. He and his sidekick, Ernie, always made my visits to Belvidere Candy enjoyable. I know he'll be missed.
Rest In Paradise Grandpa!!! I love and miss you, but I am glad you are at peace and not suffering anymore...miss you so very much!!!
Kathy and I send our warmest thoughts and condolences to the family of Herman Steinke. The Steinke family name was not widespread across the region, but so many seemed to know a Steinke. My dad always spoke highly of Herman and his family. May you find peace in his passing and hope from what he offered in life.
