Hello Frank, Barb, Patty, Anne and Jeff. I want to express my condolences for your loss. I have beautiful memories of Mom (Jan), Dad (Frank) and my sister Barb, as we exchange students used to call our American family. Jan was the person who taught me that life has its challenges and that one must be strong to meet them. I will never forget that. Besides, you were all so nice and generous with me during my stay at your home in Sioux Falls. I will never forget that either. I often think of you. You will all be in our prayers. Love, Sonia Duque.-Dyfan. Exchange student from Colombia in 1975-1976.

Frank, old friend. Carole and I are so sorry for your loss. 66 years makes a pretty hard habit to break. We'll be praying for your healing.
Jan was always wearing such a beautiful warm smile. Her picture took me right back to the real thing when she would be with you at various functions.
Frank, you know better than I that after this long things of earth can't separate you. I like to think "Please try to remember she only died; She didn't cease to exist. She is still with you and is inseparable from you". Much Love from Dean and Carole Nasser.

Dear Frank and family,
We are so sorry that you lost Jan. Many good memories come back in our mind. Visits to your home. Our visits with Dineke: Yesterday she mentioned Jans pancakes. Talking on the kitchen table.Looking at art in the basement, enjoy a brandy. Jans visit with the girls scouts to Amsterdam. She made me eat my first Dutch herring. Good times, memories that last. We wish you strengt in the coming days and weeks.
