To the Binienda family.... I worked with John at the Legislature in the early 90s when I was the Research Director for the Joint Committee on Energy. He was always a pleasure to work with and very funny! He was so proud of his district and brought us chocolate at Christmas time. When I left the Legislature, John was always helpful to me and someone I could trust for good advice. He was such a good man and will be missed. I was very fortunate to know him.

I am very sad to hear of Mr. Binienda's passing. As I am sure you hear many times over, he was my home room teacher in 7th grade - and a person who made an impact on my life. It is in this time that the small things that people say and how they say them make a difference and that he did. I am blessed to have had that experience. Since hearing of his passing I have had many memories flood my mind and along with them came many smiles. RIP

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Binienda. He was my teacher in the Leicester Middle School many years ago. He was one of the best teachers that I had ever had the privilege of being taught by; he will be missed dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I was saddened to read of John's passing. We worked together at Spag's in the 70's and became close friends. When my husband died in 1978 John came to our home many times, just to be there and offer his special kindness to our family. When my uncle Fred Pandiani died in 2012 there was John at the wake . I will never forget his gift of encouragement long before he was a state rep. as a very humble employee at Spags. I was fortunate to have met John back in the late 80's as a customer at my business. He always spoke of his constituents and how proud he was to represent his area.

to johns kids,i worked the bar at dons place in south worcester where i grew up,and there were many times he would come to our dog house club outings in the summer,and it was not for political reasons,it was because he was part of the family,that is just the way he was.they just don,t come any better then him. god bless him.

We will remember John as being committed to the people of his district. Every time we saw him, he reminded my sister and me how our parents hosted his very first meet and greet at the start of his political career. John always returned phone calls. One time he got off the plane at Logan Airport after a trip to Europe and came directly to Rochdale to address an issue. We appreciated his service to our district. John will be missed.
