Please add our deep condolences to all those below. We shared only a few years with Jack at Wilderness but that was more than enough time to realize how special he was, as a lawyer, a friend and as a leader.

My deepest sympathies to the Liber families and Nancy. Although I only met John Liber on a few occasions when he stopped by his son's Chagrin Falls office, he was always cordial. Please extend my heartfelt sympathy to Nancy, and may he rest in peace.
I knew Jack as a customer. He was always a pleasure to deal with even when we had done something wrong. My deepest sympathy to the family.

Nancy, I was devastated to hear about Jack. I so share your grief. Please know that you are welcome here anytime you need a shoulder to cry on or call, I am here to listen. 330-499-9313 With love to all of you, Carole Schuller-McArdle.
So sorry to hear of Jack's passing. I was one of his old football teammates and we also played a lot of baseball together. He was always a competitor and a super human being. He will be sorely missed by many. Our prayers are with his family and loved ones. God speed.
I was one of Jack's oldest friends. There were many things from our one-room school experiences which are brought to mind during this sad time. Jack riding his pony to our farm (Brugger on Buck Rd.), baseball games which we played against our rivals, our trip to the big city of Alliance, Alliance High School, and to graduate in 1956. I was looking forward to meeting him again at our 75th birthday celebration, but that was not to be. Our lives, of course, took different courses. His great accomplishments certainly made his parents and family very proud, and I was very glad to have known him. Putting all accomplishments aside, the greatest thing in his life was that he knew the Lord Jesus Christ.
With our sincerest sympathy.
Dwaine and Darlene Brugger, friend and classmate
One of the worlds true gentlemen; a man of courage, compassion and conviction that will be missed by every life he touched.
My mom will be waiting for you at the gates of heaven with your golf clubs and a big hug for all that the Libers have done for my family. Rest in Peace Jack; we love you.
Jack and I became friends, brothers and team mates at Purdue University in 1956 and we remained friends until his passing. I will miss our lunches and talks every Christmas at Bob Evans Restaurant in Cleveland. I am sending my deepest sympathy to Nancy and family. I will truly miss Jack.

Jack Liber was an inspiration to a whole generation of lawyers. Jack epitomized the characteristics of a stellar lawyer, as well as a first class member of his communities. We both shared our origins and upbringing in the city of Alliance. I believe he represents one of the most glowing examples of success that city ever produced. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Jack Liber was 100% pure class.
Nancy and family, Don and I were saddened at the news of John's passing. He will be remembered for his big smile and kindness to all. He never failed to ask about our kids and how we all were doing. He touched many lives with his generous spirit. Please accept our deepest sympathy? You are in our prayers.
I will miss Jack; he was both a neighbor and someone I considered a friend. His dignified fortitude was best exemplified by his wide and sincere smile whenever he greeted you in spite of what was obviously a physical struggle with a body challenged by the lifestyle he loved, be it football or golf. May God rest his soul and may Nancy find much needed comfort from all who knew and respected Jack. He leaves a legacy of which one can be most proud.

As a 17 year old freshmen pledge at the Purdue SAE house in the fall of 1959, I along with our whole pledge class was impressed with Jack's kindness to us 'wet behind the ears freshmen' pledge class. So it was thrilling to see him and Nancy at his 50th Purdue SAE Reunion, September 25, 2010.
Jack was a man of honor. So many lives are richer for having known him.
He will always be remembered by his goodness and generous spirit.
Please accept our deepest sympathy on his passing. Our prayers are for you and your family.

I was saddened to hear of the loss of John. He was one of my favorite people I encountered while working at Spangenberg, Shibley, and Liber. I always enjoyed hearing about his grandchild at Miami University. John had a heart of gold and brought a smile to every life he touched.
Jack was the epitome of class and style as a trial lawyer, respected by both sides of the civil trial bar. Those who practiced with and against him have lost a great professional and we are less without him....
Although Jack achieved many things we know that he always put his family first and that is the mark of a life well lived. Praying that you will all be granted peace and acceptances.
We are so sorry for your loss, Nancy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Jack, and your family. With deepest sympathy,
To the family of Jack Liber, he was a good man, a good father and a good lawyer. What a great legacy he leaves. I knew Jack a bit, as I did Bill, but even more so, his brother Tom. I also heard of Jack from my in-laws, Jane and Jim Hull of the Wilderness. His was a life well spent, and that is an achievement which will now receive its reward. God love all.
