Dear Anne,
Sorry to hear about the the passing of John
We were both members of the Ramapo Mountain Amateur Radio Club, and I enjoyed the meetings when John was giving presentations, I will always remember him for his wast knowledge of electronics. He helped many to become hams here in Ringwood.
He will always be missed, God bless you and your family

Dietz Family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of John. He and my father,Vince Mulvey, were "hams." They "spoke" almost every week until my Dad's passing in 1997. The names John and Ann Dietz bring happy memories and stories of Dad's good friends. My prayers for your comfort during this sad time.

Mrs. Dietz, you probably don't know me by my name. But my father-in-law, Vincent Mulvey used to be a ham radio lover like your husband. When he was here visiting my family, Vincent would come up to visit your husband and talk "radio". I am so sorry for your husband's passing. My father-in-law spoke highly of him. My deepest sympathy.

My Godfather, Uncle John, was one of the most wonderful people I know. He was such a great example of what a good Christian and Family man should be. He took the responsibility of being a Godfather very seriously. After my father died when I was 11 and my mom got sick & was hospitalized when I was 13, he flew down to Miami (where I was living at the time) to take guardianship of me. He and Aunt Anne, my Godmother, raised me from the time I was 13 until I was 18. This, I know, was no easy task. He gave me an opportunity to have a Wonderful life. I am forever indebted to this great man. I love him very very much and will miss him always.
