Very sorry to hear of your dads passing. He had to be a special man
in everyone's eyes. Please accept our deepest sympathy.
John was a gracious landlord and personal attorney. He rented the farm house on Tom Lucas Rd. to us "over the phone" when I called from Mpls., MN back in 1987. Gary & I needed a place to set down roots; it was a beautiful place to start our family and John made it so easy for us. We loved it when he'd pop by to check out the old cars he had stored in the machine shed or to see Gary's improvements to the place. He never once raised our rent & always let us deduct improvement costs. John helped us get established here and buy our first home, too. Our deepest sympathies on the loss of a great man.
John was an honest and sincere man. We could use a lot more like him.
I will truly miss him.
John was loved by his large family that he helped over the years with an open and giving heart. His generosity, wit and steadfast kindness was not unnoticed and will not be forgotten. We wish his friends and immediate family strength, peace and courage on this difficult part of the journey of life.
My heart felt condolences, may God's angels come to greet him, and may his family find peace, knowing that John helped so many. His contagious smile will be remembered, and his kind advice will be cherished. Rest in peace.

My sympathy to the Locher Family. My memories are of my parents (Donald & Marian Kearney)going to see John for about 10 minutes of business and an hour or so of laughs. He had to schedule extra time for that. John always told me of the great fun & stories they shared. I had the pleasure to have known John.
My sympathy goes to the Locher family. I spent much time in Doc Locher's office, listening to his attempt to whistle while whisking a little broom around on the floor, followed by the clarion call "Marie!"
While the action went on in the office Jane, Tom and John slept through it all.
Often watched as Skip put 25 cents of gas in John's jaunty car. As with my brother Mike, I have wonderful memories of John and the rest of the family. Rest in peace, John.

My condolences to the Locher family.
