We just found out about dear Aunt Josephine, I will be at the Funeral Mass tomorrow at 11:00 AM at St. Casimir's. God Bless You.
To All of Josie's family,
I first met Josie when I brought holy communion to her and other Catholic residents at Delta. She was truly a faith-filled person and a beautiful example to all of us who had the joy of getting to know her. We had many delightful chats. She had very strong opinions and was not afraid of expressing them. She loved and treasured her family and was so proud of all of you. Rose, you were a wonderful daughter and Josie was truly blessed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
To all of Grandma's family. I was proud to have called her my Grandma for so many, many years. I feel very blessed to have shared so many, moments in time as I call them, with her. Every time I wear purple I will think of Grandma and smile.
I wish you all peace, comfort and love,
You are all in out thoughts and prayers. May all of your wonderful memories comfort you at this time.
To all of Jose's Family Rose, Grandchildern, Great Grandchildern, Niece's and Nephew's,
Hello my friend's.I want to thank all of you for sharing your Mom, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Aunt with me. A beautiful rose is missing from our garden. I say that becuse Jose was a good friend of mine. Jose had a great love for her Family. I enjoyed hearing about everyone and how proud she was of each one. I used to share stories of four of my nephews with her. Jose was so thrilled the day they stopped by and I introduced them to her. She gave me lots of advice to give them when they were contemplating marriage. One of my fondest memories of Jose was Easter of 1999.
I work at Delta Retirement Center where Jose resided for a number of years. My first Easter at Delta Jose came into the kitchen where I was working. She asked me if I was a Christian? I told her I was. She asked what religion. I replied Latterday Saint or Mormon. She just smiled and walked away. Easter Sunday She came to the kitchen and gave me a cross to hang in my house or on my door. It was made out of Palm leaves. One of the most beautiful gifts I have ever received. I told her she should keep it that someone had made it for her. Jose said no I made it for you. I did it because I like you and I can tell you like all of us.
My heart is full at this time. I am glad that I got to know Jose. I will teasure the friendship we have for ever and the memories made. At this time, know that my thoughts and Prayers are with all of you.
All of my Love and Smiles

It is amazing how the Lord brings people into each others lives. Though we have known the family for only a short time, we will always cherish the Mother's Day celebration, the luau and Josie's wonderful sense of humor. And we pray that the Lord gives the family his strength through his words and promises. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
