Jane was a delight. Her memory will always bring a smile.
Mrs. Gillick was an amazing and wonderful person. She was a giving lady and will be forever missed.
I knew Mrs. Gillick from her being my first grade teacher at Pine Grove Elem. She was one of my favorites. She was a wonderful lady. You will be forever missed by many.
What wonderful memories we have of Jane. From the time she was young to the time when the Lord was almost ready to take her. It was always fun to stop by and visit with Jane when we went to the Ranch. We will miss her but know we will see her again.
I knew Mrs. Gillick from the time I was 6 years old. She was my first grade teacher at Pioneer School over 55+ years ago. I have remembered her my entire life. A wonderful lady with a beautiful smile. I will never forget her. Love and prayers to her family, especially her daughter Suzanne who is still my friend. Sincerely, Carol (Loehr) Carr
Sorry to hear of your loss, Mrs Gillick taught both of our boys and I worked with her also.
Words are hard to find to express my feelings knowing Jane Gillick. What a wonderful teacher and friend to everyone that knew her. Jane always showed each child how much she loved them and wanted them to learn all that they could.
A Very Special Lady.

The passing of such a great, classy lady. My condolences to the family. I know she will be missed by everyone who's life she touched.
I went to church with Jane for many years and loved her dearly. I have many fond memories of her. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends during this difficult time. She will be greatly missed.
She was a great and patient lady. Did not know her well but knew of her very well.
A wonderful, energetic, and classy lady who was loved and adored by all her students. I still have vivid memories of first grade and her patience helping me learn to read. A true reason why Amador County was a great place to grow up.
I remember Jane with great fondness. She was both a wonderful teacher and part of the community. For decades after I left her classroom, when I would see her somewhere, she always spoke. She always remembered who I was and had a wonderful little story about something I said or did while in her class. Who can forget the bright red lipstick, a trademark. I will always have a fond, special place of remembrance in my heart for you Jane.
She had such a love and passion to teach all the children in our community. I spent so many years working by her side. She will be missed by so many, but the memories she has given to so many children will live on for many years.
Mrs. Gillick was my favorite grade school teacher in the 1950's. I never forgot how friendly and helpful she was. I bumped into her at the store in Pine Grove about 10-15 years ago and we had a good chat. I had heard that she was a pilot and we talked about flying. I have been a pilot since 1969 and she knew that I have been flying in Alaska for many years and asked lots of questions. She was still so enthusiastic about aviation and life in general. It was so good to see her again.
Hi to Suzanne and John who I remember. John do you remember the hunting trip to Nevada with the Foyil boys?
Your mother was a great person that will be missed by all.
