Lisa and Frank,
I am so sorry to hear about Katie. What a beautiful person she was. I remember meeting her at your house in Kennesaw and she introduced me to her pet ferret. Her love of animals and people was a wonderful quality, and the world will be a much sadder place without her. My heartfelt condolences on your terrible loss.
May your memories of Katie help ease your pain. We will keep your entire family in our thoughts and prayers. Please accept our condolences.
Mark, Lisa and Family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this difficult time Sammy.
Katie was our neighbor in Binghamton until we moved in late 2011. Her backyard bordered ours. I'll never forget her amazing smile and her warmth and her kindness to my son, who was fascinated by her dogs. More than once I got her beagle home when he enthusiastically dug under the fence- one time I carried that big boy in my arms, lol. Katie was happy to offer advice about my cats and foster cats. She was a beautiful, sunny person, so determined, smart and generous. She accomplished more good in her time here on earth than the majority of people ever do. I imagine she would not have any regrets. I'm glad we had the opportunity to make her acquaintance. My family offers yours all our condolences and wishes you comfort and peace.
To Katie - I will always consider you my dearest friend. I do not think I could have made it through DePauw without you. You were my constant and my strength. I will forever be proud to have been your friend, and I only wish I could have told you more often how much you meant to me.
To Katie's family - Please accept my sincerest condolences. I am sorry I could not make it to Lebanon, but I am sending you all my love.
All of our love and thoughts are with you and your family, Sammy.
You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
I lived with Katie my junior and her senior year at DPU. She was was just as you described her, so energetic, so loving. She had ferrets, which she asked me to look after one weekend. I hated them at the time but she loved those guys so fiercely. She always defended those ferrets when they stole our shoes from beside the front door.
Katie was full of life and love for so many she met, and I'm deeply saddened to hear of her passing. She was fantastic and she will be greatly missed.
Dear Lisa and Family,I am so sorry for your loss. Your Family and Katie are in my thoughts and prayers.
Katie it was a honor to have had the opportunity to work with you. You will be missed.

My family and I are so sorry for your loss. It's been several years since I had the pleasure of seeing Katie, and I know what a wonderful young woman she was. She was very special to Alandra, and we always delighted in having her in our home. May God wrap His arms around you and somehow help you to find peace through the days ahead.
What a tragic loss of a beautiful life. I didn't know Katie well, but she seemed to have a kind heart, sweet spirit and a love for life. I'm sure her loss will be felt deeply by all who knew and loved her. My heart goes out to you.
Lisa and Frank,
Our deepest heartfelt sympathies are with your entire family. I only met Katie once but could sense she was a special person with a zeal for life. Reading others comments, we also find that she was incredibly kind. Indeed, a life lived well. Peace be with your family.
Katie was such a special person, I will always remember when I was being picked on in school she would always come over and give me a hug and say "it will be ok people are just mean". She will be missed. Prayers for her family&friends

We send to Katie's family, friends and her beloved pets our sincere sympathy and prayers. Some of us knew her and we do appreciate all that she did as an officer here in our city. Our hearts go out to all of you and we hope that the love of the people around you from near and far can help you find strength and peace during this extremely difficult time.
Katie was a recruit in my EVOC lecture in the BCSO Academy, 7/11. We became friends due to our love of police work, and our passion for animals. She was a wonderful person; always striving to better herself. I'm going to miss Katie so very much. My prayers to her family. Katie's Mom & Dad: Please feel free to contact me if you wish. I have many wonderful memories of Katie to share. TLA1722@icloud.com
Lisa I am so sorry for your loss. Praying for you at this most difficult time.
I first met Katie while doing a ride along with officer Dave Ely. It was just one year after she started with BPD. As a retired Federal law enforcement officer I could see that Katie loved life and wanted to help others. She was a tremendous asset to the Binghamton PD and will be greatly missed. May God give you peace!
I am so sorry for the loss of Katie, I know her mother Lisa very well and my heart aches for the family. You are in my thoughts and prayers daily, rest well Katie, for your spirit lives on.

From the time I had gotten to know Katie, I embraced the special qualities that she possessed. From her kindness, her giving & caring nature, to her incandescent smile. Her memory will live forever. My heartfelt condolences on your loss.

Jo Ann and I are deeply sadden to hear of the loss of Katie this past Sunday. Words alone cannot describe the feeling of the loss of a child. We only knew her as a young girl, but see that she grew to become a beautiful, loving, caring young lady with a heart and passion to help others in need. No one knows why she was taken from this earth at such a young age, only God. He must have needed her infectious smile, her humor and compassion for a bigger picture, unknown to us. Our sincere thoughts and prayers are with you and the families during this time of grief and sorrow. We have lost a Blessing from God.
With Deepest Sympathy
Larry, Jo Ann and Family
Our hearts are broken with the loss of Katie. Our thoughts are with you all, wishing you peace in the days to come.

So very sorry for your loss of this beautiful human being. She did so much in her short life here on earth, work to help others that is her legacy which people will never forget. You are all in my prayers for strength to carry on without Katie. Someday we will be given the answer as to why these things happen. God is always with us.
Heartfelt condolences to Katie's friends and family. Our prayers and love are with you all at this difficult time...
First I would like to say how sorry I am for your loss. I just wanted you to know that Katie was the responding officer to a domestic dispute at my daughter' s home last year. My 10 year old grandson was the one who called 911. When she arrived Katie arrested the abuser and made my grandson feel like a hero, which he was that day. I did thank her when I arrived, but a simple "thank you " doesn't seem like enough when she actually saved my daughter's life and the lives of my Grandchildren. Again I am so sorry .
My heart aches for your family. Praying for the peace and comfort that surpasses understanding!
I remember how Dee was so happy that you were having Katie. She so loved her grandchildren. She was so proud of her. today, I have no doubt Dee is hugging our newest angel as we want to hug you. On behalf of John-Michael and Jaime, I want to say how sorry we are for the loss of Katie. Too soon
I was blessed to be Katie's friend for several years while she was pursuing her Masters at Binghamton University. I, to this day, have never seen a brighter smile. Katie was a fighter. She fought for her friends and she fought for what was right. She was a beautiful person in every way whose life brought, and would have continued to bring, positive change to all those who knew her. Her loss is immeasurable.
My heartfelt condolences on your loss. Katie sounds like the kind of daughter of whom every parent would be proud. During her brief career as a police officer, and in her dicipleship through church, I'm sure she had a positive effect on everyone she encountered.
My prayers will be with you all during this difficult time.
Our deepest condolences at this heartbreaking time. I cannot convey the shock and sadness we feel. We love Katie, and will always remember her love of animals, books, and her beautiful smile and spirit. We always told her she can snowshoe up a mountain like a jackrabbit. Katie's light will never go out; she shines on like a beacon.
So many wonderful memories....
Much love to you all.
Blessings, peace and light.
Lisa, Mark & Sam so sorry for your loss. Katie was a wonderful breathe of fresh air for the world. Nothing can ease you pain. I shall keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Words cannot express how saddened
and heartbroken we are at the tragic
passing of your precious daughter. Katie
was such a special person, and a pure

I remember this young woman that responded one day when our family needed police assistance. She truly was very kind and helpful to us. So very sorry for your loss.
Lisa, Frank, and family,
Although I never got to meet Katie, I'll never forget the stories Frank would tell, and the light in his eye when he spoke of her. I'm sure you all shared the pride of her accomplishments in life, and will smile warmly when you think of Katie. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
Such a caring, sweet woman that I truly feel blessed to have met and shared some precious moments with. I am heartbroken that she was taken from us so early, but I am sure God has a bigger plan for her. Katie will forever hold a special place in my heart and will never be forgotten. Sending my prayers to the family and wishing you all much peace in the coming days. God bless.
Chris and Katie were a beautiful couple. May the memories of the two of them comfort you during the days and weeks ahead.
