Dr. Bowden challenged me in the courses I took with him. I really learned in his courses. He was a good mentor and Teacher.
Dear Audrey and family- May you find comfort in the many wonderful memories you have of such a kind soul. May his spirit live on in you and your kindness.Take care-
I knew Ken through his support of Oaken Acres Wildlife Center when I volunteered there. He was funny, intelligent, giving and caring. The community has lost a friend and he will be missed by many.
I am very saddened to hear of Professor Bowden's passing. He was a great man!!! I worked with him in the Geography Dept. at NIU. He was a fantastic teacher and wonderful friend. Prayers to family and friends.
My family met Mr. Bowden at Russell Woods for outdoor education for our home school group many years ago. He was interested in each of the students and they looked forward to each session. We're so glad he was a part of our family education.
