To the family of Mr. Leo Linbeck, Jr.
Your husband and father is in heaven with 3 great carpenters. Jesus, Mr. Linbeck Sr. and Mr. Linbeck Jr. I have had the privilege of knowing all three. Your dad was a very patient man
and I feel bless to have know him from
being able to help with his appliances in business as well at his residence. May God bless you all in your time of
I just read that your dad passed away this past weekend.
Seeing this news makes me sad.
My mother passed away a couple of months ago also and it gives me a new perspective on what to say in times like this.
I found that saying "condolences" is pretty weak. I've said it for years and looking back I am not sure what it means.
Many will tell you to think about the happy times but all that did for me was bring tears.
Saying he is in a better place is probably true but that won't fill your loss.
I think in times like this you just have to take all the sad things in and look to your family for happiness.
It was an honor to grow up with you and your family and I am confident your father was very proud of you.
I hear about your father passing away and I am sad.
I didn't know Leo well, but I do remember playing a round of golf with him at one of the reunions. Although I am a terrible golfer, he was patient and supportive. He was a great guy in my book.
Leo was such an inspiration to all of us and will be so missed. My prayers are with Bette and all of Leo's children and his grandchildren. With love to all
