Lisa and I were renewing our friendship and getting to reacquainted after years of being apart. I will miss you dear friend
May God Bless You always my beloved sister Lisa who ran with me holding hands as fast as we could in the rain down to the river on the Summit Ave islands, inspiring my work 'Raingathers', a work that has been performed for and by children through out the world.
Who but generous and passionate LISA would take care of our Uncle Leo until his death, inviting this aging man with Down Syndrome to live in her home for over four years, holding him in arms of love as he passed into the hands of God?
Lisa was so intelligent, charming, sweet and witty. I remember Lisa and Mimi were the star attractions in an otherwise all-male calculus class at Cretin.
I have a "decapitated" seat belt buckle as a token of her sweet natured wit and my juvenile goofiness.
She will be missed greatly.
Godspeed, Dear Lisa. You are dearly missed by so many.
Our hearts go out from the Lisa' s Soccer Family at CDH/Blackhawks. We will always remember the games, the Dome, and your wonderful smile. You gave your boys the tools to become Men.

Lisa and I were in Class of '74 at Derham and Tara was my "big sister" in my freshman year.
I was so saddened at the news of your sister's passing. I just wanted you to know that I will keep you in my prayers. There are so many beautiful sentiments about Lisa on these pages. She sounds like she was a remarkable woman!
Tara and family, I am so sorry to hear about Lisa. She was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed. You will all be in our Prayers.

There were few people I admired so much from afar. I loved her devotion for everything she set her heart and mind to. I have been blessed to know Cristina and the way she embodies this devotion and passion. I have been inspired by her love for her children. And I was deeply grieved to hear of her passing. I am so sorry. My prayers are with your family. ~Freya Wilk
My heart goes out to all of you. Lisa and I taught together many, many years ago at Visitation. She always had a quick smile and an attitude that would any day brighter! She was wonderful with the children and a dear colleague. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear family of Ms. Lisa,
I am so sorry and saddened to learn of Lisa's death. Lisa taught my daughter kindergarten in 2005-06 at Emerson SILC. She was a great teacher for my daughter and we enjoyed getting to know her. May peace surround all of you at this difficult time.
with best wishes,
I am so saddened by the news of Lisa's passing. She was a beautiful, caring, bright, and passionate woman. She had such intense love and dedication for teaching children. I remember talking with her many times about how much she wanted to do more for her students. She was a very special person. I pray for her children, family, friends, and students who will miss her greatly and send my most sincere condolences and sympathy.
I am saddened to the core to hear of Lisa's passing and pray she has found peace and joy with her heavenly father. My heart aches for all four children. Lisa and I watched many Blackhawks soccer games together and laughed and commiserated on the sidelines. We shared personal and professional stories and encouraged each other through some tough times. I was cheered by her humor, respected her as an educator and above all experienced her as a tenacious mother who was completely dedicated to her family and so proud of each of her children. Lisa, I always wanted to spend more time with you. Maybe someday we'll have all the time we need to catch up.
Dear Family of Lisa- I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked and visited with Lisa at Pillsbury School. She was very proud of one of her children that skied alpine for their high school team at the time. She was passionate about her family and her students. God is with you all in your time of need. Peace........
I taught with Lisa at Pillsbury School in Mpls. and remember her with fondness. She was passionate about teaching and had a real love for children. I am so sorry she has passed away and want to extend my sincere sympathies to her family and friends at this very difficult time.
Dearest Cousins, Love from The Arthur Fleming Clan from AZ via Wisconsin & Louisiana! Though small by comparison to your clan there, none the less deeply felt condolences to you all. We bear the burden of your/our loss.
Lisa was just 6 months younger than me, I so loved being her pen pal in high school after our fun family reunions at the lake in MN with many of you and some of our elders who have now gone before us, and who have no doubt welcomed dear Lisa with God's grace. I was so looking forward to re-connecting with her on my upcoming trip to see my long lost cousins this spring. I'll just have to wait a bit longer to do that, God willing. Love Always,
Lili Pat, Walt and Anastasia and a few others...we love you all.
It is with immense sadness that I learned of Lisa's passing. I taught with Lisa at Eagle Heights last year and was in her classroom every week for library time. I will always remember Lisa singing to the children when I came into the room. She was a wonderful, caring teacher.
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember her as Sra. Calderon, my first grade teacher at Adams, a very warm, kind and gifted teacher. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
To our neighbors, the Williams and their extended family members, please accept our deepest sympathies for this terrible news. Lisa was a caring and devoted person and we will all share in your grift at her passing.
Dear Pat, Clare, Tara and all the Williams, Lisa was such a delight at Derham - so beautiful inside and out. My love to all of you.

I knew Lisa from our college days at St. Ben's and St. John's. I fondly remember her laughter and adventurous spirit, our semester abroad in Mexico, her spiritual hunger and inner light. My thoughts are with her family at your loss of such a wonderful person.
My deepest sympathy to Lisa's family and friends. I worked with Lisa and was touched then by her kindness, dedication, wealth of knowledge, and beautiful smile! It is hard to believe that she has left us all. I am comforted to know that she is now in the hands of our God and is experiencing the breadth and length and height and depth of His love, which surpasses all knowledge.
We can take joy in knowing that we will see Lisa again!
My love and prayers to you, Lisa, and to your family and friends!
Colleen Culhane, teacher at Emerson Spanish Immersion Learning Center, Mpls, MN
Dearest Lisa, you were such an important, positive, gentle, loving, inspirational and spiritual guide who absolutely helped shape the person I am today. You gave so much love to me in your generous actions.....jogging together to Derham to lose weight and instead we gained...making me take life guarding lessons when I could hardly swim a lap...getting me all my summer jobs...especially the one at the State Fair....going with me across the field to Cretin to take Calculus together with all boys...teaching me all those cool cheerleading moves from California(I think)...comforting me at my Dad's funeral even when you had terrible back pain...celebrating my wedding in New Jersey...and so much more. You are always in my heart gentle Lisa and your family is in my prayers. We all have a new heavenly angel to watch over us.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Lisa will be remember as a very intelligent and passionate professional. ¡Descansa en paz Lisa!
Good bye Lisa, I enjoyed our walks

To the big and wonderful Williams clan, especially Lisa's children, who were her world, my heart is so heavy for this grief that you must endure. My own heart is broken at her passing. I have so many memories of Lisa, from double dates in high school, plays, cheerleading, child rearing, girls nights out, retreats, Spain, to the absolute joy of becoming Grandmas. With many deep discussions and much laughter along the way. I will always cherish my friendship with Lisa and will miss that beautiful face and smile that clothed such a gentle soul. God's infinite Grace be with all of you.
