Thank you MJ for helping me believe and know that photographing women sports all these years was important. Your life has been important to us all, thank you for standing up for us. You will forever be in my heart & mind. My thoughts are with you, G.R.
MJ, you will be missed but not forgotten. You were a pioneer and a generous friend. Gillian, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Your passion and positive spirit for womens' excellence in sports was felt personally. It left the right message and mark.
Mary Jo, you were a professional giant in your field; you made our lives as coaches better; you promoted our players' skills to the world; but most importantly, you were a true friend. I'm so glad I got to see you and Gillian a few years ago.
You fueled our spirits, Mary Jo. Your consummate professionalism served to nurture an entire network of women in sports information. You planted seeds and watched us grow.
Many of Mary Jo's long time friends and colleagues forwarded tributes to MJ that were posted on Mel Greenberg's blog at this URL. http://womhoops.blogspot.com/
Mel wrote this, "More than a pioneer, Mary Jo was a visionary. And for that, we are forever thankful."
Cheers to you, MJ. Thank you for enriching so many lives in so many ways, for making a mark for yourself and a host of others in the collegiate athletics industry, and for sharing your beautiful life with so many lucky people.
You will be missed by all! You left your mark on this world and we won't forget all you gave of yourself.

Thanks for all you did to advance and champion women's athletics at Penn State. Because of your work, other schools realized that women athletes should be celebrated and respected, too. You are a true pioneer.
MJ you will be missed by many. You have touched my life forever.
