Ruth was the wonderful older sister I didn't have. She was loving and supportive. Her passion for all she did resulted in accomplishments and memories that will live on. I will miss her and feel that we never had enough time together, but am relieved her suffering is over. To Mendle and all the family my love and support.
Conveying our sympathy to Revd. Adams and family.
I remember the days of Boone County and the new church start there. I remember how Ruth was such an accomplished pianist and would play and lead us in song during all the worship services. May God's peace be with you and your family during this time.
May the knowledge of our caring God comfort you at this sad time.
God brings us to life on the day we are born. And then as we travel our lives we meet those who help to give us meaning, definition, and an understanding of how God's love is manifest through us. Mendle, David, Brian, Joe and Vicki Ruth is this person for me and, I am sure, for others she met along the way. I feel especially privileged to have been with her and you in some of her most meaningful endeavors.
As family and friends go forward we know that she is still with us, as she has certainly left a piece of herself with each of us and her spirit will visit us and shed smiles and loving memories on all. My love goes out to family with a thank you prayer to God and for you for sharing her with me and so many others; she was a true example of love multiplying the more you give it away. Peace --
Ruth was a very special person who touched the lives of so many others. It was my privilege to work with her in the 1970s on the ratification of the ERA in Indiana. Rest in peace, Ruth, and thank you for your life's work and dedication.
Mendel - I'm so sorry to learn of Ruth's death and will keep you and your family in my prayers. It sounds like you and Ruth have had wonderful lives that enriched each other and many others as well, though I'm not surprised.
Bob Margraf recently passed away as well. He taught for a while in Shaker Heights when he first became a teacher. Like Ruth, he left a legacy of wonderful memories that will continue to inspire and bring smiles.
Our family is really sorry for your loss! We will pray for you and your family during this time.
I met Ruth when Vicki brought her to church after Ruth came to live in a nursing home here. Reading about her life now, all I can say is WOW!!! How God has blessed us all with Ruth's life and love! May God comfort her family and friends!
I never got to meet Ruth, but heard so much about her that I felt as though I knew her well. What a kind and compassionate woman, and what an incredible list of accomplishments! Her strength and courage are an inspiration to us all.
My dearest friend, I will miss you every day. The light you brought to my life will remain since you gave me so much love. To my "family"...I wish I could wrap you in my arms and tell you that she is at peace in the arms of Jesus...but you know that already.
Ruth only knew you a short time, but you were a very special lady.
Mendle, God bless you and all the family. My love to all of you. Sharon Monger
