I am sorry for the loss of Mrs. Lott . Although I did not know her or Profeesor Lott, I am a former ADP student 1995 of Mary Baldwin so I wanted to pay my respects. God bless you and keep the Lott and Mary Baldwin family.
We are so sad to learn your news. Pam was special to all of us. We will carry you in our hearts. With Much Love, and Sympathy, Bill, Becka and Joe Kopp
December has been a cruel month. So many of us lost dear friends and colleagues. Pam was such a gracious and fun loving lady! Continued prayers for all of you as the months pass by.
I am very saddened to hear of your family's loss. Mrs Lott was always a kind and friendly person to me. She always seemed to take an interest in whatever I had to say. I first remember her from when my mom (Augusta Markley)went to a Bible study group at the Robinson's and I would tag along because I was too young to be in school. Later in my teenage years and as an adult she would always speak and ask how I was doing. I also remember how excited she was when I saw her in Food Lion and Mary Evans had just given birth to William. She was a very special lady and take comfort in how much she loved her family and hold onto the many memories she left you with.
Dear Dr. Lott and Family,
It was 1976 when Pam and Dr. Lott adopted me. Here are some of the best lessons that I learned from Pam. 1. Marry your true love. 2. Find the humor in all situations. 3. You can be pretty and smart. 4. Put your family first. 5. Be a mentor. 6. Live an honorable life. 7. Serve the community. 8. Be a loyal friend. 9. Make your house a welcoming haven for your family and friends. 10. Celebrate life. I am so grateful to have had such a wonderful friend and thank Dr. Lott and the children for letting her spend so much time with her Mary Baldwin family.
Pam was one of the wittiest and friendliest people I ever knew. I always wished I could talk to her more, always wished we lived in the same town. She will be missed.
So sorry to hear of your loss..She was a lovely, sweet lady. Her goodness, and caring will live on like a legacy of love that will always be with you. With deepest sympathy.
Pam Lott was a mother and friend to so many of us. Her unguarded amiability and matter-of-factness gave her a radiance all her own. We will miss her dearly. My thoughts are with you all.
Dear Jim and family, I was so sorry to learn of your loss of Pam. She was such a beautiful person in life.It was a joy to see her in Food Lion, where we would stop, and share stories about our two sons. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I first met Pam when I was in grade school. She and my brother, Jim, were high school sweethearts. They married after college and she became a member of our family. Pam enriched our lives with her warmth, caring, and humor. We are fortunate she became part of us, and she will be truly missed.
From a high school friend...it was great knowing you and having you call me friend! Your presence will be forever missed.
I did not know Pam well, but know from seeing them together and hearing of their marriage from those who do know them well that Pam and Jim had one of the BEST marriages ever. It was evident how much they loved each other and had fun together. And I know from her good friends who are now friends of mine that she was a wonderful and generous friend always. She leaves a legacy of fun and teaching others how to really LIVE. Go well, Pam. You will be always in your family's heart and the hearts of your friends and students. Peace to Jim and the entire family - - remember what St. Exupery said in The Little Prince - - "In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing." Know that Pam is smiling and laughing down on you from the stars!
My prayers goes out to the lotts family. Iknew pam though my time catering at mary baldwin. She always had a smile on her face and i really enjoyed catering her event she was so fun to be around. She will be truly missed. Love and prayers.
Jim, my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.
My memories of Pam go all the way back to bring a little girl. I'll say in this post what I wrote to her in a letter just a few months ago. She had such a warm, generous heart, and spending time at her house made me feel so loved. Pam's sense of humor and relaxed way of dealing with 4 kids and a dog and her kids' friends, still amazes me. Nothing phased her. She was a superlative mother, teacher, and friend. Everything she did she did with genuine love and compassion. I can still see her amazing smile and hear her contagious laughter and the hint of Tennessee twang in her voice. Mary, David, Emily and William, you were so blessed to have her as your Mom. And we were all blessed to know her as we did. My love to all of the Lott family. I feel so fortunate to have been a part of your family when I was young.
My deepest sympathy. I'll always have fond memories of Pam. Thoughts & prayers with the whole family during this sad time. Sincerely, Darryl Addington
She was a wonderful woman. So sorry for your loss and my prayers are with the Lott family.
I will always remember Pam as a friend and teacher at Lee High School. We shared many school and family stories over the years. And I had the pleasure of teaching David, Mary, and Emily and knowing William through his friendship with my son Paul.
I will miss Pam and am very saddened by her death, but I have so many wonderful memories of knowing her and her family.
Carolyn Kinzie Carpenter
A faithful and caring friend to all who knew her! And a pure heart.
Pam Pam was an amazing women. Growing up next to Ms. Em, Mr. Paul, Sam, and Erin every time they visited them we got a visit too. I remember driving to their house with Sam Erin and Ms. Em on our way to North Carolina. I had always heard Sam and Erin talk about the dungeon and then Pam Pam told me she set up the bed for us down there. Trust me it's a roomy place but it was as dark as a dungeon. That night Pa Pa told us all some stories and showed us his tiny violin. They treated us like we were family. All my thoughts and prayers go out to you guys. You'll always be my second family as well as Pa Pa and Pam Pam.
We seem to give her back to Thee, dear God, who gavest her
to us. Yet, as Thou didst not lose her in giving, so have we
not lost her in her return. Not as the world give, givest Thou,
O Lover of Souls. But what is Thine is ours always, as we are
Thine, and life is eternal and love is immortal and death is only a horizon and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight.
Lift us up, strong Son of God, that we might see further.
Cleanse our eyes that we might see more clearly. Draw us
closer to Thyself, that we may know ourselves nearer to our
beloved, bound together by our love in the company of Thy
Holy Spirit and in the fellowship of Thy saints. Amen.

Dear Friend, I didn't see you often after high school but when I did it was such a pleasure. Your humor and joy of life was always there to share with others. I will remember your laugh that never changed no matter our age.
Condolences to your children who were fortunate to have you with them from their birth. May God comfort you, Jim, beyond all understanding.
She was an inspiration in her life and also in her death. She always had a great sense of humor and a positive outlook on life. She will be sadly missed for all that she gave to others.
