As you now look down upon all of us, and see how many lives you touched, know that you are loved deeply for all your kindness. You were the Mother/Aunt/Sister/Friend to alot of kids, as well as adults, and changed their lives with your understanding, patience and wise words. Your endless optimism was contagious, I'll never forget that. Know that you will live on in our hearts forever.
Auntie Pat was my Godmother. I will miss her dearly! She was always sharing great advice on how to be a good mother. We would send each other cards and notes once or twice a year. She always made a point to send me a little something for Christmas every year. She would make sure it either had printed on it a ladybug and if not she would sew on a ladybug pin or patch. My two favorite gifts from her were blankets. While I was in college she sent me a super soft large bear blanket. To this day it lays over VaVa's (her mother's) chair and I cuddle on the couch with it and my children next to me for Friday night movie and popcorn. The other blanket she made for me when I was pregnant with my first child. It is his favorite blankie as well. I will cherish many memories of her... Thanksgiving dinners in San Jose, her strong loud voice always welcomed us through the door, and every Christmas one of my favorite decorations to hang on the fireplace are the beautiful stockings she made for me and my boys. I am shocked she's gone. I wish I could have seen her one more time to tell her how much she meant to me. But I know she is watching over my family and I from heaven. Thank you and I love you Auntie Pat!
We want to extend our condolences to the Havens family at this sad time. We didnt know Priscilla but from reading about her by people who did, she sounded like she was an awesome lady! Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers that you will find peace and comfort in the days ahead. We love ya Matt! Dan (sgtyogi)& Chris Halsell
Aunt Pat was a huge part of my childhood. She made two of my favorite dresses of all time. She taught me that you can sew some really nice things besides the shift I made in girl scouts. Every Christmas Eve I am reminded of the wonderful holiday gatherings at her house. An amazing, wonderful woman!
