My condolences to all of you. Mr. Borders was a lovely man, and I have many childhood memories of "hanging out" with your family at cookouts and family visits.
Saddened to hear of Cline's passing. Worked for Cline when he headed Ministerial Referral Services at Gardner Webb University. His entire salary went directly into the Scholarship Fund for his Preacher Boys as he called them. It was truly an honor to work for him and to know his wife Doris. Two dedicated people who served life fully. He will be missed.
In some cases the passing of someone beloved is a deeply sad occasion, but in this case I'm pretty sure is a time of celebration. What a life! To have lived, and loved, and been faithful is a wonderful legacy and now to have traded in this life for eternal life is simply amazing. May God be with all of you; I'm sure there is a sadness in the loss, but I know that you also recognize the joy which accompanies this transition. Love you all.
We are so sorry for your loss. It is never easy to say good by but just know that his last breath here was his first breath with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that he served so faithfully and with his loved ones. What a comfort to know we will see our loved ones again. Now our job is to be ready when our time comes. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May God Bless you, Mickey & Mary Beam

Dear Borders family, My parents thought a lot of your Dad and your family, and as you know, we spent a lot of time together when he was at New Bethel. I know Jim and Marilue send you their wishes. We are all thinking of you at this difficult time..
Thinking of your family and sending plenty of hugs. (Daughter of Jim and Yvonne Cline)
He was a fine man dedicated to the service of our Lord. We were priviledged to have him as our Pastor while he was at Commonwealth Baptist Church in Charlotte.
I am so saddened to hear of Cline's passing, but happy for him in that he gets to be with Doris once again. I can't tell you how many times he told me his heart ached to be with her. I hope your memories of him will bring you comfort. He will be missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I will never forget how kind you all were to me and my family when I was so young. Rev. Cline Borders baptized me. He helped me start a wonderful journey with my heavenly Father. I am so sorry that I just found out about this - I would have loved to have been able to get off work for his service. He holds a special place in my heart. Mush love is sent your way.
Borders family...my thoughts and prayers are with you in the loss of Cline. I have shared many times of fellowship, ministry and friendship with both Cline and Doris, and appreciated them both for the work the did for the Kingdom. God Bless you All.
