Val, Mr.George was an amazing person. I always looked forward too seeing the both of you every morning at the Kangaroo. His hugs were comforting and his smiles warmed the hearts of all who knew him. I am glad to of had the chance to know the both of you through my days managing the Kangaroo and still look back to his 80th birthday message on the marque with a big smile. I know that he was truly a great person and I feel privalged to have met the both of you.

Sending my deepest condolences to Valera and her family. I will miss seeing Mr. Jones' smiling face at all the race events.
Valera and all the Jones family,
I just read in the Tennessean today of George's passing a couple of days ago. He will be greatly missed. We have not had close ties with the family for many years; but there are special memories of the family and the many good times we shared. You are all in my thoughts and prayers this Easter. God's special blessings for all during this difficult time. Tomorrow and always we can proclaim "He is Risen!", and He has shown us the way to follow. He has Risen Indeed!
I'm so very sorry to learn about George's death tonight. What a wonderful and caring person he was! You both helped a very special family when they lost their mother at such young ages. I witnessed on a daily basis the great influence you both had on them! Thank you for that! Prayers lifted for you & your family during this difficult time. Love, Emy Joe
My wife and I send our condolences to the Jones family. REV Jones conducted our marriage ceremony 38 years ago.
Valera, All the staff at the Patterson Center are greatly saddened by the loss of George. He was greatly loved by all our staff and he was always such a joy to be with. We always looked forward to his and your visits. I never had the pleasure to hear him preach but I feel I certainly was witness to the exemplary and radiant life he led. You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.
Valera, Ken, Susan, George; My thoughts are with you. He was my friend for more than forty years.
Valera, we are so very sorry to hear about George. He will always hold a very special part of our lives. We loved when he would come by our house to visit and the kids were thrilled because he would play with them. We loved listening to his sermons and he also taught our Sunday School class. He was an amazing man! We will pray for you and your family. Love to all of you.
The Tennessee Conference has benefitted greatly from the contributions made by Rev. George K. Jones and his wife, Valera. They have been good friends to many of us. Wanda and I count ourselves as blessed to be among the recipients of those benefits. Our prayers are lifted on behalf of Valera and all the rest of the family members, as well.
Brother Jones was one of the finest men that I have ever known and was always there for our entire family. I so sorry for your loss. We are out of town at my son's baseball series and will not be able to attend. I am very sorry for that. Please accept our apology and our condolences.
George and Sally, May our Lord give you peace and comfort during this time.
My sympathy goes out to you and your family at this time.
Years ago Cecil and I were in the same district with you and George and he held a revival for us. Many fond memories. Take care and know that only time heals our grief.
