My very first job was in the meter shop at WWP with your dad and B.L. (Pete) Peterson,Holden Bartlett & Harold Wimpy. Your dad was so sweet and always funny. He was a good friend of my dad's (Ed Kelly) and my parents traveled with the Gronnebecks to Reno with your parents on several occasions. I have wonderful memories of your dad. I am sorry for your loss.
Donna, Jim and family, I know your dad was one of a kind, whom I never met but heard much about from many stories. Take good care.
Steve, Donna & Ronnie - - so very sorry to hear of your Dads' passing - - I know it's been a tough few years & know it was his time. Your parents were just the best to me when were were all such good friends & working at The Shangrila - - such great memories of them & all our lives together - - good times for sure!!!!!!
Dear Steve, Donna & Ron and families, I have so many wonderful memories of your dad and mom and I am so thankful they were in my life! They were crazy & fun, just like you guys! Your dad was also protective of me on my first job at the Shangri'la...protecting me from the older maids dirty jokes! He would get so mad at them if he caught them telling me a joke. A lifetime of Loon Lake memories and great times with your mom and dad and they left some pretty great kids behind. They will be missed! See you at the lake this summer.
Love from, Mark and Betsy
