Stan and Kit were our State College neighbors for six years. Stan was a kind, gentle man -- great with our kids when they were little. We moved from the area in 96. When I visited about six years ago, we had a nice visit. I have such fond memories of Stan.
The Davinroy family extends our deepest sympathy to the Gesell family. You father was a kind and caring man and will be missed by all who knew him.
Stanley was a great boss and friend to those that were around him. I was a secretary in the entomology department when Stan retired. Sorry to hear of his passing.
Tom, Rick, and Craig,
My heartfelt sympathy to all of you and your families. Backyard picnics, insect collections, and Kiwanis activities with my dad are just a few fond memories. I will miss seeing him when we are in State College. He was a sweet man.
Tom, Rick, Craig and families,
So sorry to hear of Stan's passing. I have so many fond memories of him over the years. From backyard picnics, Christmas Eves and the Saturday bridge games with my folks. Stan was a wonderful man. May your memories of the many good times help you through this difficult time.
Stan was an outstanding colleague, a tremendous educator, and a great mentor to me as a faculty member in the Department of Entomology. Thank you for your friendship and guidance over the years. May you RIP!
My deepest condolences to your family. I will remember Stan as a dear friend and neighbor to the residents of East McCormick Ave. He was especially cherished by my late grandfather, JT. He will be remembered fondly.
When I started my job at Penn State, my first resource was the information Stan Gesell had made available. They remain among the most useful for both practical and historical information.
Stan and Kit were true friends among the many wonderful neighbors of E. McCormick Avenue. We'll miss the visits with Stan each time we were in State College through the years.
Thank you for your service to our great country! R.I.P.
Our condolences to you and your family.
