Several generations of "town kids" have frequented Tracy's for after school snacks and summer treats. He remembered us all, even after we had grown into adulthood, parenthood, as well as grandparenthood. Mr. Tracy was always smiling with a kind word, or, as teenager, if you were trying to buy a pack of cigarettes, he would be happy to lecture us on the evils of smoking, while refusing our requests. There are many fond memories of Tracy, and his kindness will not be forgotten. God bless Forrest, Sarah and all their family. You had a wonderful Dad.
my fondest memory is my best friend and i would go there everyday and mr. tracy would know exactly the time we would show up. he would call us his kids. we will miss him terribly!!!!!!
God's peace is a treasure. Our deepest sympathy at this time. Tracy's legacy lives on through his beautiful family.
Words cannot express our sorrow. You've been an icon of Bastrop for so many years. Your kindness and thoughtfulness has always been an attribute and we will miss you dearly. Our prayers and thoughts are with the Chalmers Family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends during this sad and difficult time. Mr. Tracy was a genuine friend to everyone who was fortunate enough to have known him. It was a pleasure to have been able to have spent time with Tracy and Dad as they remembered days gone by these past ten years. God bless and rest in peace.
