I just learned of your father's passing. My condolences to you and your family.
Dear Cindy & Family,
Sincere sympathy on the passing of your dad. I will always remember him as a kind and gentle man. I can still see the beautiful paintings in your (his) home. May the beautiful memories bring you peace.
We have many wonderful memories of Vitty coming up thru the back woods to visit us , and the special painting he did of us on our wedding day. He was a special, caring guy. God bless. Paul Pockevicius & Jennifer Tripp
MATTUS FAMILY, WE ARE SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, WE HAVE ALOT OF MEMORIES TOGETHER FOR 33 YEARS. HE WILL BE MISSED. LAURIE L
To the Mattus family.
Please accept my condolences of your father's passing. As I sit here writing this, I am looking at a painting your dad did for my parents (Warren and Claire Anderson, former owners of Helen's Bakery) of our back yard in Grafton. It is just as beautiful as the day he completed it, early in the 1970's. I remember passing by the house and seeing his work in the picture window. He was such a talented artist.
Your father was the most free-spirited person that I have ever known. Between his swimming habits in early spring to boogie boarding in his nineties, he was certainly one-of-a-kind. It was truly a pleasure knowing him and having the opportunity to be part of many Mattus family gatherings. My deepest sympathies.
Dear Matt & family, Please accept our sympathy in the loss of your Dad. I think he was an inspiration to many as how to live your life to the fullest. He was also very lucky to have such a supportive, loving and encouraging family. That is just another testament to a life well lived.
You are in our prayers....
The bonds of love and family are never broken, and I know that you will continue to guide and watch over your family on this side of the veil.
Thank you for serving our country. May your family find comfort in their faith and may you Rest in Peace.
Dear John, Bruce, Matt and Cindy:
We are truly sorry to hear of your father's passing. Vitty was my Dad and Mom's friend and neighbor for many years.
All the wonderful memories I had as a kid at your Dad's house will never be forgotten.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Paul & Donna (Pockevicuis) Dailida
What a wonderful life your Dad has lived. I always admired his talent, and his happy disposition. My prayers are with you all at this time of loss.
I was saddened to see in the paper the passing of Vitty, He had been a great help to me, as I started out as an artist. He also volunteered his time to help me organize, set up, judge and demonstrate at the Wild and Wonderful Nature Art show, established to help Capen Hill Nature Sanctuary in Charlton. My condolences to his entire family. He will be missed. I was privilaged to have worked with him. Juanita Longwell, retired Director of Capen Hill Nature Sanctuary.
