Grandpa wally I am so sorry for, the way I was growing up I truly wish that i could have gotten to know you alot more......on December 27, 2013 when i had learned what had happened my heart was truly broken...I will always Love you and remember you in my mind and heart.......Love, your grandson.....Ronald Edwin Jr.
I saw Wally's death notice while reading the Tribune, something I learned to check from my parents, the Sweeney's. I remember Wally's name as a friend of my Dad Tim while they worked together at Illinois Bell. Sadly, both our Dad and our Mom Eileen have passed away over the last few years. May perpetual light shine upon Wally and all the faithful departed.
Dear Jung Family - the passing of Wally is truly a heartbreaking ordeal, but if any light be shed on this, it is that he shared his last meal in the company of the people that he loved best and he knew he was loved by them. I know that you can't ask for much more than that. We have many great memories of Wally, who was a part of our family for the past 26 years, he will be greatly missed. Love, The Batinich Family.
Dolores and Family,
My sincere sympathy for your loss. The neighborhood will not be the same without Wally.
Wally and I have been friends since I first became an installer for Illinois Bell. We have had many experiences together and will miss him dearly. Always enjoyed our calls talking about the good old days at the phone company. A truly good friend and my very Sincere regards to Dolores and family for there loss.
We'll miss all your military and fish stories, Wally. We assume you're now sharing them with old friends who preceded you. Rest peacefully. You and the family are in our thoughts.
