Condolences to the Flick family with fond memories of a nice neighbor and school bus driver when I was growing up in Covington.
A very nice man who will surely be missed!

We have so many wonderful memories of times spent at Bill and Florence's farm. Our son's first fishing trip, selecting that perfect pumpkin, and others. He was a loving, caring, and compassionate man, whom left "footprints on our heart" that will last a lifetime. It was a gift just to know him.

He was a wonderful person. He was my first bus driver in 1961. Then Linda and i were close friends. I spent alot of time in that home. I was treated like i belonged there. My prayers go out to the family.
I'm so sorry to hear about Bill's passing. When I first moved to my home on Versailles Road, Bill and Florence were the first ones to welcome us. They told me that a one room school house use to set here and how Bill had helped Mr. Jay tear it down. He told me I'd never find a place to dig on my property that I wouldn't find an old red brick. He was so right! Bill is going to be missed by everyone who knew him , he was a wonderful person!
Please accept our sincere condolences for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of need. Sincerely, the employees at Intelsius.
I have many treasured memories of Bill. He wasn't just my neighbor throughout my childhood, he was a grandfather figure to me. It brings me joy to know that he will spend eternity in heaven with Jesus, and I pray this brings his family peace and comfort. May God bless you during your time of loss of a special man who was a husband, father, grandfather, friend, and servant.
Bill represented the very best of the Covington community. I am forever touched at how warm and welcoming he and his wife Florence made my family and myself feel when we moved to the area. Bill and Florence were great ambassadors for the Covington Schools. Covington is better place because of their devotion.
"Cap" was a man of great love for God, family, country, and community. His warm smile and life stories will be greatly missed. We mourn knowing his role as loving husband, father, and friend leaves a void in each of our lives. We rejoice knowing he was welcomed home as "good and faithful servant" by his Savior.
