Jim, Don and your families,
I am so sorry to hear about your mother. She was my favorite English teacher when she taught Jr. High in Mulvane. I also had her for music. She was a great teacher and a great person. My prayers are with you at this time.

I had Mrs. Reed for 7th grade art. She always made it fun in all we did. I enjoyed it so much I later went on to teach at the summer recreation program for three summers in the arts, crafts, and ceramics classes. May the Lord be with You All.

Hold each other close in these days and months ahead, as she held each of you during the beautiful years you shared together. Know that she is at peace and that I am there with you, in my heart.

With much sympathy and love,

Of all the teacher's I had thru kindergarden to high school, she is the one I remember the most. Another angel has entered heaven. My thoughts are with her family.

Mrs. Reed was my 7th grade Art teacher at Mulvane Jr Hi. I have never forgotten her and still have some of the art projects that I did in her class. But what I most grateful to her was her art history class. In my travels around the country and world, I have always gone to the art museums and used the knowledge that she placed in a young mind of 12. I never would have the appreciation for art, good and bad, if not for her slides, lectures and guidance. I have told many people how great a teacher she was and how much I enjoyed that class of hers. Thanks Mrs. Reed!
