Memories of My Dear friend Ann...
I will always remember how excited John was to show off his pretty new girl. And pretty she was. Ann was lovely and you could see that she was truly in love with John. She was soft spoken and always had a quiet timid way about her. That was probably the librarian in her. She was quick to smile and always ready with a kind word. I don't feel Ann had a mean or jealous bone in her body. A truly humble woman.
I know she loved John above all else and was a wonderful wife and life partner to him. He couldn't have chosen one better. She brought such joy to his life. Adding to this everyday joy was enough until over the years she delivered him three beautiful baby boys. Their boys were her treasures and she loved them dearly.
Ann worked hard at giving her boys (all four) a warm, loving, comfortable home. She was truly a giving wife, mother and friend. We enjoyed some good times together over those fifty some years of their marriage. I am happy to have had her for a close friend. She was loved and will be missed by many.
Goodbye dear friend,
Dear John and boys,
I was saddened to learn today that Ann died recently. I have hope that she is with her Saviour, and am thankful for that. May the Lord bless you with his grace in the days ahead. In love, Cheri Cothran Minerd
I am so sorry for your loss. Ann was always the sweetest person and I enjoyed working with her very much. She will be missed.
I remember first meeting you at your wedding to Uncle John when I was eleven. I always really enjoyed our talks and discussions at family gatherings. I'll miss seeing your smiles. Love you always, Dianne
