Coach Innis was a special man in my life.....His dedication to his student-athletes was always evident......He inspired me to be the best that I could be! Coach was a man of his word.......and keeping his word cost him a big steak supper at the 101 club....By Golly(how often did we all hear that phrase).

Tony was a good and decent man. He loved my mother Helen and brought her joy. I am thankful for the memories of shared moments full of smiles he gifted my children, Lydia and Jonathan, with a trip to the community pool. They splashed into the water with abandon doing cannonballs off the board. We love you Tony.
I taught with Tony for several years at LP. A good man - I enjoyed every conversation I ever had with him.
Prayers and love sent to the Innis family!
Tony Innis was my Football and Track coach from 1962-66. He's one of the reasons I also became a teacher and coach. As a teacher, you never are sure if you are make a difference. Tony without a doubt made a difference in my life and I'm sure everyone he worked with. He was a special personality and he will be missed. May he rest in peace.
