Carol Jean (Danhoff) DeWolf
My deepest sympathies to the family of Carol DeWolf. Carol had an enchanting and delightful presence in life. I am forever grateful for her encouraging compliments and unrestricted love. Her smile, laugh and easy going personality were contagious. I especially enjoyed sitting in her kitchen laughing and telling stories with her and Carrie. Carrie and Lance you will always have a guardian angel looking over you. You are both in my thoughts and prayers.
Carol has been my friend since grade school. We lost contact for awhile and reconnected after Carrie was born. After that, we sent Christmas cards to each other for 38 years. The one statement that we always wrote to each other was "This year we will meet somewhere to recconnect". Then came the phone call from Carrie who I haven't seen since she was two. Carrie was the one who got us together again and I will be forever grateful. I was able to see Carol to catch up on our lives and reminisce about old times. I will always cherish the precious time I had with her. To the whole Danhoff and DeWolf family are my deepest condolences. Carol was a beautiful woman who will always have a place in my heart. My Love Charlene (Petz) Bernasconi
What an incredible blessing to have gotten to know and love Carol. Because of her warm and loving heart towards God and others, she became a sister and a friend upon first meeting her! What an example of 1 Cor 13 - which I believe exemplified her life! 1 Thes 4:13 NIV "Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope." Even though the sting of death is still present, the greater reality is the hope of Christ's return, when we will all be gathered together and be able to see each other again! This hope we have is the true comfort! Love to Carrie, Lance and family.
My condolences to Gary Danhoff and the family in lost of your sister
Dear Carrie, Lance, and family of Carol DeWolf,
May you be comforted in the innermost part of your hearts by the healing balm of God's love.
Carole walked with such a gentleness, and when she was present, love was also present. I know Carrie as part of our church and Christian family, and I notice this same gentleness and love in her life. This outcome is the manifestation of a life responsibly lived as a thoughtful, kind, and wonderful mother. To Carol's tribute her love lives on in the life of her daughter. I know there are others, too, who have been inspired by Carol's loving deeds and ways, who have encountered an added blessing because of knowing her.
With love and continued prayers~
