Dear Wolcott Family,
I always loved your dad. Of course he was my own personal
"princi-PAL" when I was in high school. You know how people always have that little fear of the principal? Not me!!! He was the best and always indulged me with an answer of "Yes!" To any crazy cheerleader or pep rally request I had. Never would he blink an eye when I'd call him Claude Behnke instead of Mr. Wolcott. He was an encouragement to me during my teenage years. I am sorry for your loss
Happy birthday, Paw Paw! I'm missing you so much and wishing I could see you one more time. We came by to bring you some flowers and a birthday card today. I just wanted to let you know that you were an amazing Paw Paw and I feel so blessed that I got to be your granddaughter. You always made sure to tell me that you were proud of me in everything that I did and I never got to tell you how much that meant to me. You were one of the most amazing men in my life and so many people loved you so much! I keep hearing stories about you singing White Christmas each year for all of your students at the talent show and I never got to hear it (I told you I want to hear it so when I get up there we're going to have to make it happen!) I will be thinking of you and missing you until we meet again! Love you so much and I'm so proud of the amazing man that I got to call my Paw Paw! (I never got to tell you that I was proud of you too!)
All My Love,
Laura Joy/Laura Loo
I remember interviewing for a position teaching math at Salmen. Behnke called Annie for a reference. How convenient that Annie had been my Algebra 2 teacher! My thoughts are with the entire Wolcott family.
Uncle Behnke, I will always have fond memories when we would come over to the house. I just wish we did not live so far away that we did not visit more like the old days! You and Uncle Buck were my favorite! Say hello to him for me and my mom. Love always
Mr. Wolcott was and remains an ispiration to those of us who were fortunate enough to have him as a role model while he served as principal of Salmen High School. Mr. Wolcott and his leadership attributes will remain with us as will the blessings he provided to eveyone who knew him.
