To the family and friends of Don Haeske --- I am truly saddened/touched that your dad and friend and neighbor has passed away. I met Mr. Haeske by accident - I work at Rae-Ann and I walked into the wrong room one day (thankfully) and met Don. After I/we realized I was in the wrong room, he invited me to sit down and talk with him while he waited for his ride to come and pick him up to bring him back to his wife. It was his discharge day from our facility. He was sooo excited to be with his wife again. I was so happy for him. He told me all about his service in the war, his teaching experiences and his cherished book that he had signed by one of his teachers long time ago... I so enjoyed speaking with Don and I cant believe that vibrant, excited little man is gone. Because of Don, because I promised him, I will be joining Toast Masters at the Rocky River Library... he told me I had too since I live so close to it and it is a great group of people.... I thank God that I was blessed to walk into the wrong room. The difference he made in my life in those 30 minutes was truly amazing.... For those of you that had him a lifetime... GOD LOVE YOU!
Keep his spirit with you always - he had such a good energy and you will forever be blessed.
Finally - if you know of the book that he read and re-read that, the one I speak of in this email - can you please forward me the title of it again --- I misplaced that title -- and I really want to read it! Thanks!
Fair winds and a following sea to you, my friend.
