so very sorry to hear about Don's passing. I was his neighbor for several years and enjoyed him and his wonderful garden that he generously shared with all. Sorry that I can't be there for his wake.
Sue, Mike and Family, I am so sorry for the loss. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow
Hello to John and Sue. We were sorry to hear of your dad dying. He was my cousin and I stayed at his house (Aunt Marie's store) some days each week for several years as I worked in Aunt Marie's store. Your Grandma was a fantastic person and I got to know your family well and became like part of it. Your dad played drums in a dance band in high school but gave it up when he graduated and went into the service. He let me use his drums and I then went into a dance band and played for the next 30 years but the first 5 of those years were on your Dad's drums.
Your dad was a very typical teen and fun to be around. We were sorry to miss the wake and funeral but we didn't hear the details until it was over. We don't get the paper and no one called to tell us of the death and details after.
Your Dad was very good to my dad and got my Dad pigeons for almost 50 years. My Dad loved to raise pigeons and watch the Rollers and Tumblers fly over his house.
Your dad also would give my folks some of the vegetables from his garden.
He was a good guy.
Jerry and Ruth Klosowski
Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
