Jean and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss and sorry that I will not be able to attend the service for Don.
I was the County Engineer for Dubuque County from 1986 to 2004 so I got to work closely with Don during that part of our careers with the County. I considered him a valuable employee and a friend and never once did we have any problems. He always looked out for those people he served and he did an excellent job. I don't remember a single complaint about his workmanship. Even those who were concerned that he wasn't there quick enough (everyone wants to be first to get out in a snow storm) knew that when he did get there it was done right.
Again I am sorry for your loss and you will be in my prayers.
Jean and family, My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I will always have wonderful memories of Uncle Don. What a great man. May you find comfort in Jesus.
Our deepest sympathy to your family. I have great memories babysitting for your family. Your dad was so kind.
Treasure all the wonderful memories.
Sorry for your loss Donna. I know how hard it is to lose one of your parents. The lost of my father is still very hard to bear sometimes but family and friends will help you along. If you need someone to talk to I am available. Co-worker Barbara A Porter
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
