Tom was Conant High School Principal when I started as a Special Education Associate in the fall of 1989. So many wonderful words have already been written about him. So, "if a picture paints a thousand words," I hope these pictures of Tom from our CHS yearbooks bring back some happy memories. They show more about him than my words could say.

Tom worked to provide a sense of community spirit when Superintendent at Kearsarge. Tom, through his open door interaction with community providers, helped make sports a tremendous success in the district through his understanding and dedication balancing policy with the needs of the community. A true leader! Tom will be missed.

My most sincere condolences to the Brennan family. Dr. Brennan's intellect, warmth, wit, beaming smile, twinkling eyes and heart inspired all as he led the Manchester School District. Peace, Lisa Orofino

My deepest sympathy to the Brennan family. I had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Brennan as a customer where I work. I must say he was one the best superintendents Manchester had to represent education in the Manchester school system. I remember last year when he came into my work I told him to have a nice weekend, and he told me, " My daughter is getting married this weekend." When I graduated from college last May, ( at the of 52 ) he brought me a congratulatory flower two days before my graduation and shook my hand when he presented it to me. I was honored to have him congratulate me on my accomplishments. From his warm smile, to the light in his eyes when he spoke of doing what is right for the students in Manchester, to the love that was evident of his family when he spoke of them, a truly remarkable man is gone too soon.
