Met your son Steve today, nice guy. I never met Ed, but i've admired your work.
Although I never met Big Ed. I am proud to ad his last available Bonneville number to my Land Speed Racing team list. Thanks for being a great mentor. # 607 LIVES on!
Thank you Ed for the enjoyable afternoons spent with you and Kenny at Mabry R&D. Tom and I always enjoyed your company.

Fuel Bikes Forever
I got to know Ed when he would come out to Brea, California to check on parts for Bell Helicopter back in '95 - '97. Though he was there to "beat me up" due to schedule, etc, I always enjoyed his visits. I always wished that I could have broken loose to go up the Salt Flats to see the bikes run in person. I hope someone can continue his legacy. I am so sorry to hear of his passing as I was going on the website to see when the team was heading off this year. It was then, that I realized that my mother passed on the same day.
I knew Ed through my father and have been to Eds shop many times over the years. There wasn't a nicer man than Ed Mabrey.
