Elizabeth Drew "LiZ" Murphy
My dear friend Liz, I am deeply saddened with the loss. We became such good friends. My favorite professor who encouraged me to go on. I loved you so much as well as my family. You were a true gift to all who met you. I will miss you laughter and smile but mostly I will never forget you. Thank you for all the cherished times. Rest in peace Liz and God bless you! Robin and Jane
I am devastated with the loss of Liz. She will be sorely missed by her family, friends and colleagues. My life was enriched by her wit, friendship, and compassion. My condolences to her family and to all who knew her.
I will miss your smile and gentle manner.
So heartbreaking and devastating to lose Liz, a dearest, very close friend—my Maid of Honor and supportive colleague, always compassionate and loyal. Fortunately, we enjoyed two weeks together visiting this summer and making plans for more travels. My sympathy and prayers go to all Liz's family and numerous other friends, together with several, I have shared fond memories of our dear, loving Liz—gone too soon!
Ann and I were shocked and saddened to hear that Liz had passed. We were friends and traveling companions for over 40 years, traveling to so many places. Our adventures in Greece alone would take hours to tell. When she settled in Peabody, she created a home that was truly Liz, one of the most welcoming and comfortable homes we have ever stayed in. Liz lived a life of joy and elegance. We will greatly miss her.
