Wib and Sandy
We are so sorry to hear of the lose of your brother and brother in law. We didn't know him personally. But have heard of him thru you and know he was a very good man that will truly be missed. Love and prayers to you and the rest of the family.
At some point within the last few years I communicated with Jerry to tell him that he had that great attribute called grace and how much I had appreciated him over the past sixty years. When he hit that snare drum, you knew we were going to march at a fast and dynamic pace even in Washington D.C... I will miss you, dear classmate.
I remember the good ole days we had
Those memories stay forever in our hearts
Rest in peace dear friend.
I have many fond memories of my classmate, Jerry....... especially those related to music. As head of the drum section of the marching band, he never missed a beat and ran a tight ship. After choir rehearsals in the choir room, Jerry would often sit at the piano and play for us to sing. I especially liked hearing him play "After the Ball is Over."
It appears I am first to sign Guest Book for Jerry; never was a Better Snare Drummer for the Greyhounds, not much contact for the last 40+ Years but he was a good '57 Classmate!
