What can I say about Gordon? He was a father when I didn't have one in my life. He was a friend when I had none. He was a true parent and always trying to give sound good advice under all circumstances. He was hilarious and if you could get a word in edge wise on anything political or worldly with him you were lucky. He was a stoic cynic and a brilliant artist of all mediums. A brilliant cook and our very own "soup nazi". He was a mentor, grandfather, and a male parental figure to all my children. He was amazing. Truly amazing! God blessed us all when he placed Gordon in our lives. I will miss our midnight talks and turner classic movie nights and discussions about everything meaningful. He gave me more than I could ever return through his being a father and friend to me. I'm glad the kids and I got a chance to tell and show him how much we loved him these last many years. He was truly a special man and may God be with him til we meet again.
