I worked with Gran at HQ USAFE, Ramstein AB, Germany in the late 70s and early 80s. He was a good Officer but, more importantly, he was a good man.
My condolences go out to the family. They lost a loved one and our Nation lost a great Patriot. May he rest in eternal peace.
What a dear-heart Gran is and gentle man! I will always appreciate his love and concern for his family, friends and everyone he met. Love and blessings to you and your family.
On behalf of the members of the Oklahoma Heartland Chapter of the Air Force Security Forces Association (AFSFA), our deepest condolences to the Cross family on the passing away of Granville.
We know that he is now in Heaven standing guardmount with all the other Sky Cops & Vietnam Vets that proceeded him there.
Charlottel, my heartfelt love goes out to you and all of your family. I hold dear my memory of Gram giving me a kind smile and a humerous wink during my interview set before the church committee. He set me at ease with his nonverbal message of, "It's going to be okay."
I knew Gran through bowling...he was a quiet man but, kind and generous. Enjoyed the years that we bowled together with his wife Charlotte. He will be missed. My sincere condolences to the family. May he rest in Peace.
