I attended art school in Philly and used to occasionally ride his bus. He would invite me to sit behind him and we would talk. He knew me because he and Alice were friends of my parents, Al and Doris Phillips. He was a funny guy and cracked me up. It always looked like he was having a great time and everyone who got on the bus seemed to know him. Sorry for your loss.

Dear Dotti & family, Sorry to hear about your dad. I am sure you know he is in a better place. Don't know if you remember me, but I grew up a few houses from your Mom & Dad on Forklanding and went to school with you. My deepest sympathy Ginny McGovern Johnston

My favorite senior citizen-teenager! Palmyra String Band was always more fun when Dixie was around. "Let the good times roll." You will be missed by many. Have fun playing that sax in heaven, say hi to all the other PSB guys up there!
