Sorry to hear about Mickey. I remember our days in the Chief of Chaplains Office at the Pentagon. God's blessings be upon you and your family. I pray that He will strengthen you all in the days ahead.
Just a note to let you know you are in my prayers during this time.God be with you.
Dear Peggy: I was thinking about you and Mickey this week and today Rick sent me word that Mickey died several days ago. I remember well our time with the 82d Airborne. Please accept my sincere sympathy for your loss. We know Mickey is in a better place but that doesn't make the loss easier to handle. Sincerely, Shirley Chavarry Corbin
Memories wain and lapse as the years fly by. But my memory of you, Peggy, and Mickey is one thing the aging process has not dimmed. To remember Mickey makes me smile even in my sadness about his death. My deepest sympathy for you, Peggy,in this loss of one person who made me happy to be a part of his extensive chaplain family.
It's hard to say everything that describes the man Uncle Mickey was as a husband, father, brother to my mom and uncle to all of us nieces and nephews. He was the kind of man you rarely find today. He always made you feel special and loved and never had an unkind word to say about anyone. He will be missed by all. I have a lot of good memories of times with him and Aunt Peggy. He will not be forgotten.
