To all the Gruver family,
We are so sorry for the loss of your father. Jim was very special to us and we loved him so much and will miss him tremendously. We really enjoyed the years that he & our Mom, Donna were together. We had some great times down at the lake with him & Mom. We'll never forget his joy in playing some very competitive euchre! He was the euchre King! In the last few years we missed seeing him like when he & Mom were together. We hope you all know that we loved him dearly and are so sorry for your loss. He will be remembered fondly. We are also so sorry that we couldn't attend his life celebration as we are in Los Angeles right now, as we just drove our youngest son, Andre' out to LA to live with his sister, Erica. We left on Sat the 13th from Indy & won't be back till the 23rd. Our sincere apologies for not being there. Hugs & prayers to you all for God to help you through your loss.

We will all miss Jimmy, "The Regrade King" of Yellow Pages.
He was inspirational to all of his fellow salesmen at Indiana Bell & Ameritech, usually leading the Indianapolis canvas.

He was a real faithful RYPPER (Retired Yellow Pages People club.)
At this past Christmas Party I asked him what was his favorite town of all we traveled & he responded unhesitatingly "INDIANAPOLIS!"

That was Jimmy.

May God comfort you in this time.
