Dear Scot,

We are truly sorry for the loss of your Father. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

Jim and Mary De France were neighbors on Quincy Street in Sturgeon Bay in the ealy 60s. I,Jim,also taught at Sevastapol High School. We rode together to school some days. We remember the cats,already,in Sturgeon Bay. We are proud to have known the family and we sympathize with the loss of a good person.

I was one of his students when he taught at Sevastopol High School so many years ago-Janice Suppanz. He had a way of reaching his students and making them feel special. He touched the lives of many students over the years as he did mine. My condolences to you all.

I was sorry to hear about Jim's illness and passing. We had many good years as coworkers at Neenah H.S. in the science department and also at our moonlighting jobs of working the ice rink at Washington Park.
I will always remember Jim with fondness for his dependability and fairness with students and staff.
You and the rest of Jim's family are in my thoughts and prayers that you will find a new normal and continue on with the wonderful retirement that you have enjoyed these past few years.
