I just learned of your passing today and I am very sad. Those of us who knew you were blessed to have been in your circle of friendship and love. This has made me think about our long talks about gardening and quilting and how I was always "killing rats". :) I count myself very fortunate to have you next door for many years. You and Donald always had great stories about life in the military and life in Europe. Thanks for moving next door and being my friend.

I did not know your dear mother, but her obituary caught my eye. This is a beautifully written tribute that you have made for her. It seems like she lived a very full life, and enjoyed the little things. Thank you for writing this and sharing it with us. My day is a little brighter now after reading your tribute- and you have reminded me to slow down and savor the time that I have. My condolences to you and your family...may you find comfort in the wealth of beautiful memories that your mother has bestowed upon you.

Jan and family:

So sorry to hear of Jo's passing. I know that everyone that knew her will miss her very much. I know that she loved you and your family as she spoke of you often.

Jo was so talented and I still have results of her generosity as we still have several things that she and Don made for us while we were their neighbors on Dauphine Dr. and they are still displayed in our guest bedroom.

Jo was a very giving person. We lost contact after we moved and have often wondered where she and Don were. We did hear that Don had passed away several years ago.

Our prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time. May God bless you with peace.

I didn't know Mrs. Allen, but the name caught my eye, as it's the same as mine.

Her obituary speaks of quite a lovely, well-rounded lady who had a long, wonderful life - full of things that were of importance to her & her family.

May God keep her in His arms, as He gives her rest forever.

My sincere condolences to the family.
